The site now has a new Link Button!

What do you think?

Doug Heavener (a Generic Geek by any other name) turned me on to one of the newer trends in web site design - link buttons... Rather than everyone doing their own random thing with different sizes and shapes, link buttons are standardized on an 80x15 pixel image, usually dual pane... The best place to see what these look like is the Steal These Buttons page on Taylor McKnight's web site.

So don't just sit there, if you have a web site, link to me! And then create your own link button and let me know so I can link to you...

button looks good, I added it last night, I'll get that Safari screenshot over to you later this afternoon. I like the image in the cells between posts... it looks nice. Are your different "dept."'s catageories in Pivot?

You are learning, young padawan... I added several new categories to Pivot and then edited the log_entry_standard.html template to move the display above the post entry, change the font, and wrap it in the "From the ... Dept." script...

Word of warning, however, do not add category names with spaces in them... I had to manually rebuild my Pivot DB files after doing that to make everything work again without losing anything...

And since I know you are a search bot fan, using hyphens between words allows the individual words to be picked up by most (if not all) bots...
